Welcome to Dub Hub Depot

Nestled in the heart of our vibrant community, Dub Hub Depot isn't just an e-store; it's a maker's studio and a mobile hub for upcycling innovation, all inspired by the enduring legacy of the "people's car." Growing up surrounded by Kombis and Veedubs wasn't just a hobby for the founder; it was a way of life. Weekdays we were dropped off at the very front of our school by Dad courtesy of the noisy unforgettable Mr. Kombi, and Weekends was all about family time squashed at the back of the van - playing with the tiny swingout windows. Vivid memories of the family taking turns washing Mr.Kombi to start the new week shining yellow bright. The unmistakable scent of oil and let’s not forget the old upholstery – these experiences forged a bond with these vehicles that runs deep.

"We grew up with these special cars," explains Dani, Dub Hub Depot Founder. "They were part of our family, our adventures. As we got older, we started seeing these beautiful, iconic vehicles reaching the end of their road life. It feels wrong to just let them go to waste."

This realization sparked the idea for Dub Hub Depot. Instead of seeing old VWs as scrap metal, I saw a treasure trove of creative potential. Every panel, every seat, every steering wheel held the possibility of a new life, a chance to be transformed into something beautiful and functional.

Dub Hub Depot is also committed to being a local business with a global impact. They source as many materials as possible locally, supporting other businesses and reducing their carbon footprint. They're also actively involved in the local community, attending workshops and events that encourage creativity and sustainable practices.

In a world increasingly focused on sustainability and conscious consumption, Dub Hub Depot is a shining example of how passion and creativity can drive positive change. They're not just selling fast fashion; they're selling a philosophy, a way of looking at the world slowly and intentionally with an eye for potential and a commitment to giving things a second chance.
